Fake science produced by paper mills is quickly evolving in the age of AI and is posing an increasing threat to the quality of systematic reviews and the authenticity of health science information. Invited by Missouri Medicine: The Journal of the Missouri State Medical Association, we are submitting a perspective article to summarize the background of paper mills, the key features of fake papers, as well as the available resources and tools to combat fake science. This poster will present the key points of our article in two tables.
