Our mission is to provide exemplary health care to all who are in need with efficiency and compassion and through research and teaching, to develop future generations of physicians with the knowledge, skills and values to do the same.

The Division of Emergency Medicine includes over a dozen active researchers in every aspect of emergency medicine. Some areas of particular emphasis include neurologic emergencies, toxicology, ultrasound, geriatric emergency medicine, critical care, acute coronary care, etc. We collaborate with other researchers in other departments such as Neurology, Cardiology, Neurosurgery, Radiology, Infectious Disease, Surgical Critical Care.
