Abstract
The purpose of this investigation was to determine the impact of support groups on the quality of life of adult cochlear implant users. Standardized surveys and a card-sorting task were used in addition to qualitative interview questions that were developed to compare the quality of life of cochlear implant recipients who attend versus those who do not attend a support group.
