"...My mentor met the call team in the workroom during a weekend he was not on call. He said that he wanted to round on one of his post-op patients—that a weekend interaction free from distractions was what he felt this family needed. The words he spoke on the way to the room were few but now today carry the weight of an anvil in my soul: “Sometimes, you just have to spend time”. "
