Abstract
The focus of this study was to provide a summary of the existing literature concerning resilience in children who are deaf and hard of hearing in general education classrooms. The goal of highlighting factors that contribute to the development of resilience in children with hearing loss was to provide parents and deaf educators with an understanding of why building resilience in children is important and how they can support the development of resiliency.
