Abstract
This paper analyzed the use of the smartphone in early intervention with parents of children who are deaf or hard of hearing. The smartphone tools explored were texting, video, social media and internet, and mobile applications. This paper examined the benefits and drawback to using these tools in early intervention with a population that has additional stressors on the early intervention experience.
